One of the best is the paved Marvin Braude Bike Trail, 22 miles of relaxed cruising past some of the most famous beaches in the city. You’ll pass swaying palm trees and enjoy fabulous people watching as you meander past Hermosa Beach, Santa Monica Beach, Marina Del Rey. Park and explore the sea of humanity at Venice Beach, or pop into a café or bar for some refreshments. This ride is easy and perfect for all ages. Another option for an easy beach ride is the Long Beach Bike Path which offers more chances for exploration and a great view of the iconic luxury liner, the Queen Mary. If you go on Saturday, make sure to visit the local shops along the route as they offer discounts to cyclists.
Ride to the Stars
